With 2024 still in motion, Esprit D’Air looks towards an exciting future in 2025.

With 2024 already over the halfway point, Esprit D’Air is already looking towards the year 2025. With their 15th anniversary on the horizon, it’s no surprise that the group is gearing up to create a memorable year for not only themselves, but their fans as well.

Just announced on July 31st, Esprit D’Air will hold their highly anticipated Seasons & Aeons Tour for 2025, with dates spanning across Europe. From England to Spain, Esprit D’Air have so far packed their up-coming tour with an impressive 9 countries in 15 different cities. Beginning on 22 March in Bristol, UK, the tour will conclude in Barcelona, Spain, on 28 April, with additional dates to be announced.

Due to the incredible success of their last European tour, which saw 17 of their 22 tour dates sold out, Esprit D’Air will now be playing at bigger venues with a capacity of 500 – 1,500 attendees,

Esprit D’Air will also release three new albums: Seasons, a compilation of unreleased songs, reworks, and covers, offers a distinctive collection of rock tracks. The upcoming live album, Live in Barcelona captures the energy from their sold-out Leviathan Tour in 2023. Both albums will be released simultaneously in Europe, North America, and Japan on 8 November 2024. The band’s next electronic metal studio album, Aeons, is also due for release in 2025.

Regarding the up-coming tour and album releases, Kai, the leader of Esprit D’Air says:

“It’s really exciting to see the venues we’re playing double in size and to see that the demand is there. Our upcoming album ‘Seasons’ will be a nostalgic journey of unreleased songs and classic covers, taking our fans back to the sound we had when we first formed, whilst ‘Aeons’ will have more of our forward-thinking sound. I am really excited about releasing both of them and we will definitely play some of those songs on this tour. We’re still confirming a couple of dates, so this tour does not stop here!”

The members of Esprit D’Air include Kai (current guitarist in The Sisters of Mercy) on vocals and guitar, and touring/session members Takeshi on bass, Yusuke on guitar, and Jan-Vincent Velazco (Pendragon and Gus G) on drums.

Esprit D’Air’s previous album Oceans entered the Official Charts, peaking at #5 in Album Downloads, whilst their singles Leviathan and Shizuku entered the top 10 earlier this year without a record label or manager. Recently, Esprit D’Air released a remix of Shizuku with critically-acclaimed metal drum and bass producer, Zardonic, as well as a new age orchestral version of Glaciers.

With 17 out of 22 self-promoted European dates sold out on their last tour, high demand is anticipated for the upcoming tour. Kai will also be touring with The Sisters of Mercy in North America between September and October 2024.
